Greetings!
Three teams have jumped into the lead pulling away from the rest of the pack. Team Ron and Don continues to lead, now by 2.5 points. Greg and Andy had a good week and moved up a notch to second while Bill and Jeff are only three points behind in third place. Bill and Jeff play Ron and Don this week while Greg and Andy play Lou and Howard. Everybody remains in contention this year as we have added the round robin meaning we have five weeks left in the first half.
Ron once again had the low round of the night. But Greg, Bill U., Bill G., and Steve all had 42's. Don, Leroy, and Harold all had 47's to lead the #2 men.
On the skills competition, Scott & Gary won the closest to the pin on the par 3's for the #1 man. Rob was the closest on #12 and no one was on #17 for the #2 men. Gary is the new #1 man leader with 3; Steve & Troy have 2 points; and Ron and Scott have 1. For the #2 men, Jim and Rob have 2 points; Don, Jeff, & Joe all have 1. This week we will go with the longest drives in the fairway on #'s 1 & 9.
This was a big week for birdies. Ron birdied #10; Harold #11, Rob #12, Scott #15, Greg & Gary #17, and Steve #18. We could have had a nice combined score! Good playing guys!
